To get the best results, follow these steps:
1. Enter your website's full URL into the tool URL Option.
2. Choose the sections to disallow (e.g., categories, tags, search pages).
3. If your website does not have any posts that are added to 2 tags or are added to only one of 2 or more categories, then do not disallow tags and categories, and enable the other options.
4. If there are any posts or pages that you do not want to index, then you will disallow pages and posts, and in the final code file, you will get an option in which you can add the ID of that page/post to prevent Google from indexing it.
5. Click” Generate Code.” The tool will automatically generate the correct robot code file.
6. Paste the generated code into the Blogger or WordPress robots.txt file in settings for Blogger and in the root directories for WordPress.
7. Finally, go to Google Search Console and test your code file to make sure there are no errors related to this code.
